Tiziana joined T&E in August 2020, after more than eight years at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action. Before that she worked in a lobby association in Brussels and at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the United Nations in Geneva. Tiziana, after having been the director of T&E’s freight programme, now leads on projects to unlock Europe’s potential for zero-emission vehicles.
At the Commission, she worked on the design and implementation of several climate policies, including the first EU legislation to reduce CO2 emissions from heavy-duty vehicles. A native of Sardinia, she studied political science and international relations at the University of Cagliari, of Florence, and at the Freie Universität in Berlin. She speaks Italian, English, French, German and some Polish. Apart from trucks on the Belgian roads, you will find her contemplating a beautiful tree or the sea, if available.
