Marcin Korolec has been president of the Electric Vehicles Promotion Foundation (FPPE) since September 2016. He has served as Poland's minister for climate (2014-2015), environment (2011-2013), and trade (2005-2011). In 2011 he co-led the EU's delegation at the UNFCCC Conference in Durban, and in 2013 he was president of COP19.
A lawyer and long-standing government advisor, Marcin is currently on the advisory board of the Baltic Development Forum. He is an academic lecturer and the author of scientific publications about Poland's EU accession negotiation. Besides his native Polish, Marcin is also fluent in English and French. He is married to Olga and is the father of four. His hobbies include long-distance running and skiing.
