Barbara joined T&E in 2020 to help build a sustainable urban transport campaign across Europe. This followed 12 years with Greenpeace where she led various international projects, including its cities-focused international transport and air quality work. Most recently she was the program director of Greenpeace Belgium.
Barbara has also been a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster in London, teaching communications and campaigns, and she runs her own sustainability consultancy firm. She holds a masters’ degree in public relations and mass communications and a BSc in economics with an international relations focus. She is also an internationally-accredited ACC coach with the International Coaching Federation.
