Alex joined T&E in 2020 after working as a public affairs consultant and a parliamentary assistant in the European Parliament. As Clean Vehicles Manager, Alex leads on key aspects of T&E’s cars work, including sustainable batteries, vehicle CO2 standards and pollutant emissions.
Alex worked for almost five years in the European Parliament as an advisor to environment committee member Seb Dance MEP. During this time, he worked on legislation covering the EU ETS, air quality and the decarbonisation of cars, trucks and planes. He also supported MEP Dance in his role as coordinator for the Socialists and Democrats (S&D) group in the parliament's Dieselgate inquiry.
A British national, Alex holds a Master’s degree in European political and administrative studies from the College of Europe and a BA in politics and French from the University of Bristol. In his spare time, one of his preferred ‘hobbies’ is talking about politics or football over a beer.
