The Swedish city of Göteborg (Gothenburg) has become the latest to decide to introduce congestion charging.
[mailchimp_signup][/mailchimp_signup]The city council voted unanimously for congestion charging after it became clear that the Swedish government will not finance a new rail tunnel that forms a central part of a regional transport plan aimed at increasing the attractiveness of public transport.
The details of the system will now be worked out, with an introduction likely in 2012.
